Art

The children will be involved in a wide range of activities which are aimed at solving problems and developing artistic skills and techniques.  These include:  drawing, painting in a variety of media, design, printmaking, collage, fabric work and a range of modelling, including work in clay. The children will also examine the works of artists and appreciate the materials they have used.  They will consider both traditional and abstract art by looking at the works of such artists as Van Gogh, Monet and Turner.
